    Hi flappy frienzy

If clicking Repair Now simply closes PowerPoint and the same error appears the next time you open it, the built-in repair prompt may not be completing successfully. This issue is often related to a corrupted Office installation, an add-in, or a problem with the local Office profile.

    You can try:

Start PowerPoint in Safe Mode: Press Windows + R > Type powerpnt /safe> Press Enter (Open Office apps in safe mode on a Windows PC | Microsoft Support)

If PowerPoint opens in Safe Mode, disable any add-ins:

    • File > Options > Add-ins > Select COM Add-ins > Go > Clear all add-ins and restart PowerPoint.

Run an Online Repair of Microsoft 365:

If the issue continues, completely uninstall Microsoft 365, restart the computer, and reinstall it using the education account associated with the license.

Uninstall Microsoft 365 or Office from a PC - Microsoft Support

Download, install, or reinstall Microsoft 365 or Office 2024 on a PC or Mac - Microsoft Support

Please try the steps above and let me know if they work via comment section. I look forward to your response.
