My Mackbook is old and cannot be updated, it is running 11.7.11 is it possible to use Microsoft on my iPad?

If you have a Microsoft 365 subscription, not a stand-alone Office licence like Office 2021 or 2024, then you can install the Microsoft 365 apps on your iPad, the process to install the Microsoft 365 apps on your iPad is provided on this link.
