Hi. I use Outlook for my work emails, but all my contacts are saved in iCloud.

I have added my iCloud account to Outlook on Mac, but the contacts do not show up when I am trying to send a work email. How do I enable this, please?

My company uses Office 365.

    Dear @William Dutton,

    I hope you’re having a good day.

Outlook for Mac now supports connecting iCloud accounts and accessing iCloud Mail, Calendar, and Contacts directly from Outlook. Microsoft recently announced improvements to iCloud integration, including support for iCloud Contacts and Calendars through the Outlook account setup experience.

You can review the announcement here: It’s now easier to access iCloud Mail, Calendar, and Contacts in Outlook

To better understand your situation, could you provide a few additional details?

    1. Are you using New Outlook or Legacy Outlook for Mac?
    2. Do your iCloud contacts appear in the People (Contacts) section of Outlook?
    3. If you create a new message using your iCloud account instead of your Microsoft 365 work account, are those contacts available when you start typing a recipient's name?
    4. Could you share a screenshot of:
      • Outlook > People view (showing whether the iCloud contacts are visible)
      • Outlook > Settings > Accounts (showing the configured accounts, with any personal information obscured)

These details will help determine whether the iCloud contacts are not syncing into Outlook, or the contacts are present in Outlook but are not being used when composing messages from your Microsoft 365 mailbox.

Please understand that our initial response does not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

Looking forward to hearing back from you with any updates or additional details.

    Warm regards,
