For some reason this started happened a few days ago.
Ok so I use laptop as normal ok good and all. BUT!
The moment I closed to do other stuff and afterward open back up it doesnt play any sounds anymore
Not on the laptop's own speakers or through my headphones
And initially I can just restart the laptop and not close it or let it sleep the problem just go away
And as for yesterday till now it just stop making sound all together. I dont even made any changes at first
Every method I do possible, even searching online with the use of services, device manager, control panel, etc.... DID NOT WORK!
So is this some window update bug? cause I DID do that and it still not solved anything
There are some problems reported with audio after recent Windows updates, I need some information about your system.

Right click your Start Button and open Device Manager.
Expand the 'Sound, Video and Game Controllers' section.
Please provide a screenshot of that full Device Manager window.

Click your Start Button, then just type msinfo and press Enter, please provide a screenshot of the resulting System Information window.

Your screenshots indicate the Realtek HD Audio drivers are not installed on your laptop, below is the support page for your laptop on the Dell website, on that page, click Select Drivers, then set the Category drop-down menu to Audio and there you will find the recommended Realtek HD Audio drivers and Waves MaxxAudio Pro for your system.

Ok I just finished download and restart the Realtek and Waves
But somehow there still no sound
Thank you for the screenshot, the Realtek drivers are now installed correctly.
If you disconnect that USB adapter you are using, then go into Sound settings and set audio to the internal laptop speakers, is there then sound coming from those speakers.
Ok I just disconnect it (like unplug it)
and then nothing happened
also the headphone doesnt work if I plugged it back in nor when I choose to play sound with the laptop's speakers

Open the Settings App.
Go to Windows Updates -Update History.
What is the KB number of the latest updates installed on your system.
heres the lastest one
2026-07 Update (KB5121767) (26200.8894) - 19th July 2026
ofc I might add other updates that I got right before this incident as well
2026-07 Security Update (KB5101650) (26200.8875) - 17th July 2026
2026-07 .NET Framework Security Update (KB5100998) - 17th July 2026

Try uninstalling the KB5121767 update, that is not a normal update, it was released to fix problems in the July KB5101650 update, that may be causing the problems.
If that does not resolve the problem:
Go to System - Recovery.
Click the 'Reinstall Now' button in the 'Fix problems with Windows Updates' section and wait for that process to complete.
This process should fix any corruption in Windows and will not affect your files, settings or installed apps.
