i made a note of my entire training, but that was lost from SharePoint. how can i restore it again?

Thank you for your post. I’m sorry to hear that you can no longer find the Word document containing your training notes.

Could you please confirm whether you are a site owner or site administrator for the SharePoint site?

If you have the appropriate permissions, please check the SharePoint site’s Recycle Bin first. If the document is not available there, please also check the second-stage Recycle Bin, as the file may still be recoverable. In SharePoint Online, deleted items are generally retained across both recycle-bin stages for up to 93 days from the original deletion date.

If you are not a site administrator or cannot access the second-stage Recycle Bin, please contact your organization’s IT administrator or the SharePoint site administrator and ask them to check the second-stage Recycle Bin on your behalf.

i have searched the second stage recycle bin too, but I'm not able to find the document there?

Hi Shirisha Baswa,

Thank you for checking both the SharePoint Recycle Bin and the second-stage Recycle Bin.

Since the document is not available in either location, I recommend contacting your organization’s IT administrator and asking them to open a support ticket with Microsoft through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center:
After signing in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, select Help & Support.

Then you can type "Get help" and click on "Contact support". From there, you can choose your preferred support method, such as phone or email, and request that the case be reviewed by the appropriate team for further assistance.

When opening a support ticket, please make sure the Support Assistant (AI) in the Help panel is turned Off. Several customers have reported that the Contact Support option may not appear while the Support Assistant is enabled. Once the AI assistant is turned off, you should be able to enter a description of the issue and the Contact Support option will appear, allowing you to submit a ticket directly to Microsoft Support.

A Microsoft Support engineer can collect the necessary information and investigate the affected SharePoint site and tenant from the service side to determine whether any further recovery options are available. When opening the ticket, please include the document name, its original SharePoint location, the approximate date and time it disappeared, and any other details about when the document was last accessed or edited.

Please note that recovery may not always be possible, but Microsoft Support will be in the best position to review the situation further.
