yo, microsort, not trying to be rude but how do i change the emojis, i genuinely hate them 😭😭😭

i liked the ORIGINAL FLAT EMOJIS, like the ones on xbox because they werent shaded and 3d, these look AI modified and i don't even like AI that much...

is there any way to change them back? or if not can yall make them less... yk, shaded, 3d, ect.. 😔

I totally get where you're coming from. A lot of people preferred the flatter Windows 10 / Xbox-style emojis and aren't fans of the more 3D Fluent look.

Unfortunately, Windows doesn't currently include a supported setting to switch the system emoji set back to the older flat style. The current emoji design is part of the Segoe UI Emoji font used by Windows.

Some users have experimented with replacing the emoji font, but that's an unsupported modification and can cause issues after updates.

If you'd like Microsoft to consider a "Classic Emoji" option, the best route is to submit feedback through Feedback Hub:

  1. Press Win + F to open Feedback Hub.
  2. Select Suggest a feature.
  3. Request an option to switch between Classic/Flat and Fluent/3D emoji styles.
  4. Include screenshots showing the emoji style you prefer.

You're definitely not alone. I've seen users asking for the older emoji designs or more customization options.
