Hi everyone, I’d like to know if there are any settings for the Windows 11 phone linking feature that would allow me to view or reply to messages directly from my computer without having to unlock my phone’s screen multiple times. With the current setup, every time I click on a phone notification on my computer to view it, I have to verify it again on my phone—it feels like it would be easier to just handle it directly on my phone.

This should be possible - open the messages App instead of notification which opens the app without confirmation, instead of notification. Just ensure in Link to Windows on Phone, these last 2 settings are enabled under More settings.
Once you do this and directly open the messages app, no prompt should be required. You can also pin the messages app in Start.

Thank you for your answer. After making these settings, it seems that I no longer need to repeatedly unlock my phone to authenticate when viewing and replying to SMS messages. However, even after I enabled full permissions for Link to Windows, turned off battery optimization, allowed background running, and enabled developer options, some apps can only improve connection stability—they still cannot bypass the authentication required after the screen locks. I suspect this may be due to Android’s security design or restrictions imposed by the phone manufacturer.
Yes, thanks. This is pretty correct. The apps that use Security APIs cannot be mirrored before screen unlocking, I am afraid, in Android, which is by design.
