Why is Microsoft TODO reminding me of a task I've scheduled for August 1, 2026?

I created a TODO reminder in Outlook, where I scheduled it to remind me on August 1, 2026. Today is July 19, 2026. The due date if August 1, 2026. The reminder is set for 6 PM August 1, 2026.
So, why does TODO remind me, today of this reminder which is almost 2 weeks ago???
