I'm working on learning IAM. I'm in my main MS account in the portal. I created a another email account/domain to login and get going. However, I've not been able to log into the new Entra account to start. Looking for some help.

Thanks.

The error indicates the signed-in account does not currently have access to the tenant being selected.

    Try these checks in order:

    1. Confirm the correct account is being used If the work account and personal Microsoft account look similar, make sure the intended work account is selected when switching directories.
    2. Use a private/incognito browser session A stale session can cause sign-in failures such as invalid or missing session state. Try signing in again in an InPrivate/incognito window or a different browser.
    3. If this is a newly created tenant/account, make sure the account exists in Microsoft Entra ID In the Microsoft Entra admin center, go to Entra ID > Users, search for the account, and verify the user object exists.
    4. Check the account status In Entra ID > Users > select the user > Profile, confirm Block sign in is set to No.
    5. If the account was meant to access the tenant as another identity, add it to the tenant For personal Microsoft accounts, administrative access to a tenant requires that account to be added to the tenant, typically as an external/guest user, and then granted the required admin role.
    6. If MFA setup is blocking sign-in Another administrator can reset MFA registration for the affected user:
      • Go to Microsoft Entra admin center
      • Navigate to Identity > Users > All users
      • Select the affected user
      • Open Authentication methods
      • Select Require re-register MFA
    7. If repeated sign-in attempts were made Wait and try again later, or use a different MFA method. Repeated attempts can trigger temporary protection.
    8. If the portal still fails to load for this tenant Open a support request in Azure portal:
      • Open Microsoft Entra ID
      • Go to Troubleshooting + Support > New support request
      • Issue type: Technical
      • Service type: Microsoft Entra Admin Center
      • Problem type: Admin Center Portal Failing to Load or Refresh

For the screenshot shown, the most likely fixes are:

    • sign in with the correct tenant-associated account,
    • use an InPrivate session to avoid cached session conflicts,
    • or add the new account to the tenant and assign the required role if it is not already present there.
