Hi,

Please download SFCFix.exe by niemiro of Sysnative forums, and save this to your Desktop.
Download the file, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip. Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it. See illustration image
When you see the prompt "Will you allow SFCFix to communicate with Sysnative servers?", type "n" for no. Press Enter to continue.
SFCFix will now process the script. It will take some time to complete. Upload the output file SFCFix.txt in your next reply.
Restart Windows and attempt to install updates.

I followed the procedure above and did not get a SFCFix.txt file anywhere on the PC, despite running a Search on all folders and sub folders; however, there is one in SFCFix.Zip which I have not enclosed as it has a date of 7/19/2026 at 1:27 PM, or roughly 4.5 hours ago. Running Win Update to update KB5099539 was unsuccessful.

The steps were not followed correctly.

Did you drag SFCFix.zip onto SFCFix.exe?

Yes I did and clicked on No; there was no prompt to allow me to hit enter.

After following your procedure above file SFCFix.txt wasn't generated on the desktop, but I found a copy in SFCFix.zip, which I have attached. I am currently running the update. Will let you know if successful.
