I followed the procedure above and did not get a SFCFix.txt file anywhere on the PC, despite running a Search on all folders and sub folders; however, there is one in SFCFix.Zip which I have not enclosed as it has a date of 7/19/2026 at 1:27 PM, or roughly 4.5 hours ago. Running Win Update to update KB5099539 was unsuccessful.

The steps were not followed correctly.

Did you drag SFCFix.zip onto SFCFix.exe?

The first time around I didn't get a cmd line to answer N and to hit enter. However, just now I repeated the process and got cmd line plus the attached SFCFix.txt.SFCFix.txt
