Azure Artifact Signing: Can a Spanish sole proprietor use a registered trade name (OEPM) as the Publisher name?

Hello,

I am a sole proprietor based in Spain developing and selling boutique audio software (VST3/CLAP plugins) for Windows.

I distribute my software directly from my website, and I am interested in using Azure Artifact Signing.

In Spain, a sole proprietor can officially register a trade name ("Nombre Comercial") with the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM).

If I register "Monolith DSP" as an official trade name, can Azure Artifact Signing display Monolith DSP as the Publisher name in Windows instead of my personal name?

If so, which Spanish documents are accepted to validate the trade name? For example:

  • OEPM Trade Name registration certificate
  • AEAT registration or tax certificate
  • Modelo 036/037

Best regards,

Ruben Nine
