Verification for redeeming rewards

when I try to redeem gift cards and scan the QR code on my phone to verify my purchase; the pop up to put the code isn't there and instead it takes me to my dashboard, and I was wondering what could possibly help?

    Hello, good day and thanks for your question. Sorry to know about this and I understand that you have encountered an issue with redeeming a reward in Microsoft Rewards.

    Please refer to the below for the other things that you can check for this.

    • Ensure that you are not using or connecting to any VPN or proxy.
    • Logout and login to your account to every Microsoft Rewards dashboard that you are into.
    • Check and try on a different browser as well and ensure that clean up the cache and also ensure that no extension/s installed might interfere with Microsoft Rewards.
    • Another thing that you can check and try is to use InPrivate browsing or Incognito mode on whichever browser you are using.
    • From the Bing app on your phone, use it to scan the QR code and the link would be a blank page and then check if you will be able to copy the link and paste it into a inPrivate or Incognito mode browsing window and check if it would open thus enabling it to complete the verification.
