This usually means the login account or username is already linked to a different Microsoft Learn profile.

Use this fix:

Sign in to Microsoft Learn with the account that currently works.
Select the profile icon in the top-right corner.
Select Settings.
Under Account Management, select Add Login account.
Sign in with the other account that is showing the error.

If that account is already associated with another Learn profile, adding it will trigger a Profile Merge.

Important details:

A profile merge combines learning progress, credentials, and transcripts into one profile.
After the merge, all login accounts on both profiles can still be used to sign in.
Merging cannot be undone.

Account limits:

If the profile was created with a personal account, up to five work or school accounts can be added.
If the profile was created with a work or school account, one personal Microsoft account can be added.

If access to the original Learn login account is lost, access to the Learn profile and its data requires being able to sign in with at least one valid login account associated with that profile.

Learn usernames are unique. You need to enter a unique username when creating your Learn profile
