Startups: Companies that are in their initial stages of business and typically developing a business model and seeking financing.
A manual backend sync is not a supported self-service path in the available guidance. The supported next step is to submit a Microsoft for Startups support request for portal access and benefit provisioning issues.
Use the path that matches when the startup joined the program:
- Joined before May 29, 2026
- Sign in to the Microsoft for Startups Portal.
- Select the ? icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Submit a Support Ticket.
- Attach screenshots of the redirect loop and any error details.
- Joined after May 29, 2026
- Sign in to the Azure Portal.
- Select the ? icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Help + support.
- Select Create a support request.
- Attach screenshots of the redirect loop and any error details.
For Microsoft for Startups program-specific issues such as benefit access, onboarding, entitlement corrections, billing profile issues, and portal access problems, Program Support is the correct channel. Program Support also handles Azure credit activation and benefit redemption issues.
If the issue is specifically that benefits such as LinkedIn or other startup offers are not redeeming, documented causes include:
- the account already redeemed the same benefit
- the account is an existing enterprise account
- eligibility or verification requirements are incomplete
If Azure credits are involved, activation issues such as Already redeemed or You aren't eligible for this offer are also directed to Microsoft for Startups support.
