Hi Lennon I. Emmanuel,

I understand how annoying it can be when the prompt keeps returning after you have already dismissed it.

The prompt in your screenshot appears to be from Windows Resume feature, which lets you continue an activity from a linked phone on your PC. You should be able to disable it without installing WhatsApp Desktop:

  • Open Settings.
  • Select Apps > Resume.
  • Turn off WhatsApp or turn off the Resume feature completely if you do not use it for any apps.
  • Restart the PC and check whether the prompt returns.

This should not prevent you from continuing to use WhatsApp Web in your browser.

Since you posted under the Windows Insider category, could you confirm whether your PC is currently enrolled in the Windows Insider Program? If so, please also share the Windows edition, version, OS build, and Insider channel shown under Settings > System > About. Please do not include your device name, product ID, or other personal information.

While my initial response may not fully resolve the issue, I truly appreciate your cooperation as we work together toward identifying the most effective solution. Thank you so much for your understanding.
