In MS Project Pro 2021: can the 1st col under the File Tab be widened?

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on your description, you would like to widen the leftmost column.

As I understand it, you want to expand the title area (Timeline or Gantt Chart) so that it can be displayed more widely.

By default, the title column on the left side of the Timeline and Gantt Chart cannot be edited or resized directly.

If you would like to expand the display area of the Timeline or Gantt Chart, you can move your mouse pointer to the divider line and drag it to make the area wider.
