I just applied the update above (July 14, 2026—KB5101650 (OS Builds 26200.8875 and 26100.8875), and my Start Menu button became non-responsive. I talked with Copilot, and I saw that only SearchHost.exe was running. StartMenuExperienceHost.exe, ShellExperienceHost.exe weren't. My OS is Windows 11 Pro.
A few days before, I had the same problem, and tried to solve it with Copilot. I had to reinstall Windows 11 Pro, mantaining my files and my apps. Copilot made me change the permissions of folders, and that didn't end at all. I had to close the command and, after the re-instalation had to set the permissions by myself.
I think the problem was only permissions.
Now the same problem with the Start Menu appeared again, but I won't follow Copilot.
How can I solve this? Is it the same update?
