Windows 11 iot 2024 LTSC licensing and use cases

Hello,

We want to use the Windows 11 IoT 2024 LTSC Value licence on industrial mini-PC but I read we are limited on what we "legally" can do on that Windows IoT licence. It said it's for fixed purpose but that's not that clear to me. Thank you!

  • If I display a web page with KPI, is that OK ?
  • Can I install a software locally to monitor industrial machine ?
  • Can I install an anti-virus or UEM to manage the device ?
