Finish Date Showing Different

Based on your description, it appears that Microsoft Project is still treating Saturday as a non-working day, which would explain why the task is finishing on August 8, 2026 instead of the expected date.

Since both Saturday and Sunday are displayed as non-working in the Gantt Chart, I’d recommend checking the following:

1/ Go to Project > Project Information and verify that your project is using the same calendar that you modified.

2/ Open Project > Change Working Time, select the calendar currently in use, then go to Work Weeks > Details and confirm that Saturday is explicitly configured as a working day (for example, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM and 1:00 PM–5:00 PM) rather than inheriting a non-working schedule.

3/ If the task has resources assigned, check whether the assigned resource’s calendar also has Saturday configured as a working day, as the resource calendar can override the project calendar when scheduling tasks.

4 Also check whether a Task Calendar has been assigned to the task (Task Information > Advanced), as it may override the project calendar as well.

If Saturday is correctly configured as a working day and the task starts on July 25, 2026 with a duration of 10 working days, the finish date should be earlier than August 8, 2026.
