I have no idea how to check if it has. But it shouldn’t have first game I think has asked to link them. Also no error code.

Thanks for clarifying. The account needs to be linked from inside Halo, not through the PS5 settings.

Please open the game and continue until you see a QR code or linking code. Scan the QR code, or visit https://www.microsoft.com/link on another device, sign in with the Microsoft account you want to use, and enter the 8-character code shown on your PS5. Please make sure the Microsoft account already has an Xbox profile and gamertag.

Hi,I can't play halo on my playstation 5.... No matter what I do, I've tried on my phone, I've tried through the playstation using the in game way and nothing works..... Like literally at all, I'm getting frustrated because I've just spent £50 on a game and I physically can't play it.... Can you please just link my account or something because it's beyond a joke now...... Why make it this awkward to just play a game? Nothing works whatsoever so please just do something about it, it even pops up saying "you're signed in and can play halo" and then I close the page and I still can't play it tells me to go through the steps again.... I've done this over 5 times now and I still can't play.... Please help I already have an Xbox account that it is linked through but it just does not work

Sorry the sign-in keeps looping. Please request a new code in Forza and enter it using a private/incognito browser window while signed in to the correct Microsoft account. If the browser confirms the link but the game still returns to the sign-in screen, please contact Forza Support, as forum members cannot inspect or reset the account connection.

I understand the frustration. Just to clarify, is the game failing to display a linking code or are you not receiving a Microsoft verification code by email?

The account-linking code should normally appear directly on the game’s sign-in screen rather than being sent to you. Please restart the game and try the sign-in process again. If the missing code is an email verification code, check the junk/spam folder and make sure the masked email address displayed is one you can access. Thank you so much for your understanding.

Hey I am trying to link playstation to my mircosoft account to play Halo campaign evovled but its not working with both of my mircosoft accounts. I have gone through the process correctly and it keeps telling me that the login has failed and that I need to do a additional sign-in. Also it is telling me to make sure that my account isnt active on another device, which have done and it still not working. So wondering what else I need to do

Since you’ve tried two Microsoft accounts and still receive the “additional sign-in” message, could you confirm the exact Halo title, whether you’re playing on PS4 or PS5, and share a screenshot of the full error with any personal information hidden? Hi, you normally don’t link your Microsoft account through the PS5 settings. The linking is usually done from inside the game.

Open the game on your PS5 and look for an option like “Sign in with Microsoft account” or “Link Account.” If a QR code or an 8-character code appears, scan the QR code or go to Microsoft’s account linking page on your phone or computer and enter the code.

Make sure you sign in with the Microsoft account you actually want to use, especially if your PSN account may have been linked to another Microsoft account before.

If you’re not getting a QR/linking code, or the game keeps asking you to sign in even after it says you’re connected, let us know which game you’re using and what message appears on the screen. That would help narrow down the problem.

I'm aware you link it through the game. When I link it through the game on my son's player 2, it goes through on my phone successfully and then in game i get a failure message.

I’m having same issue - Forza 5 n PS5 no matter how many times I restart the game and try to enter it says “sign in needed” - no QR code appears or ability to sign into Microsoft account from the device.

There is a place to sign in with Microsoft password I had to make new account then sign in with password
