Hello,

I would like to redeem my Microsoft Rewards points for a 1,000 Robux gift card. However, I am being asked to verify my account using a phone or the Microsoft Authenticator app.

Unfortunately, I do not have access to a phone, and the website displays the following message: "Phone verification is not available at this time."

Could you please help me verify my account or provide an alternative verification method so I can redeem my Microsoft Rewards points?

For security reasons, Microsoft has removed the option to add a new phone number to your Microsoft account. This is why you may be encountering the error message: "Phone verification is not available at this time."

So, sign in to the Security Settings page of your Microsoft account, and please check whether you can add the Microsoft Authenticator app as a method to verify your identity.

Security Settings Page

  • Select "Add another way to sign in to your account".
  • Click 'Use an app'.
  • Follow the prompts to set up the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone.
  • Once you’ve done that, try verifying your rewards again.

Open an incognito/private browsing window, sign in with your account here, and then try redeeming your rewards: https://rewards.bing.com/redeem/us

Please note that you will need either a phone number or the Microsoft Authenticator app to verify your identity and redeem your rewards.
