Training: Instruction to develop new skills.
This is most likely an authentication/session problem with the embedded Learn simulator, not malware on your device. A 401 means the simulator did not receive or accept valid authorization for that launch.
Try this sequence:
- Close the simulator tab and return to Unit 11.
- Confirm that you are signed in to Microsoft Learn, refresh the unit, and launch the simulation again from the button in the unit. Do not reuse a bookmarked or copied simulator URL, because the launch session may have expired.
- Allow third-party cookies and pop-ups for Microsoft Learn, and temporarily disable strict tracking protection or an ad blocker for that page.
- If it still fails, clear the site data for Microsoft Learn, sign in again, and retry in a new InPrivate/Incognito window using Edge or Chrome.
If a clean relaunch still returns 401, the simulation asset or its authorization configuration may need to be repaired by the content team. Use the Report a problem option at the bottom of Unit 11 and include the module and unit title, the time of the failure, browser/version, and a screenshot of the 401 page.
Your security scan was reasonable, but a 401 is an authentication response and is not evidence that the link is malicious.
