Windows updatw bricked computer

Newest windows update(windows 11) sent me into a bluescreen loop. Every time I start my computer it goes to automatic repair.

The startup repair option just tells me that it couldnt repair my pc.

The unistall latest quailty update juat goes back to the autimatic repair menu screen

The unistall latest feature update also says it ran into a problem.

System restore says i must specify which windows installation to restore. Restart this computer , select operating system , and then select system or restore. It only has the close option.

System image recovery gives me eror 0x80070002

Whats left is uefi firmware and comand prompt access.

What can i do?

I'm glad to hear you were able to get back into Windows!

Since the PC is booting normally now, I'd recommend running sfc /scannow from an elevated Command Prompt to check for and repair any corrupted system files. It would also be a good idea to restart your PC a few times to confirm it consistently boots without returning to Automatic Repair.

If everything continues to work as expected, you can submit feedback through the Feedback Hub to let Microsoft know about the issue, especially if it started after a Windows update. You may also want to pause Windows Updates temporarily while you monitor the system, which can help prevent the same update from being reinstalled immediately if it contributed to the problem.

    Did some digging and for some reason found out the windows had two different boot up options. They were completely identical in name.So I switched them around , and it just started working again. Anything I should do to check that there won't be consistent problem?

    Hi, good day!

    The best thing to do in this situation is to perform a Clean Install of Windows 11. However, you will need to find another working Windows computer from a family member or friend near you to create the Windows 11 USB Installation media.

    Find another working computer then download the Media Creation tool (Click Download tool now). Use the tool to "Create installation media (USB flash drive at least 8GB in size) to install Windows 11". Instructions inside the link.

    Note: Please make sure to uncheck the "Use the recommended options for this PC" box. Please check the link below for more details.

    If you want to retrieve your important files, Insert the USB Installation media into your computer. Please change the boot order in the Bios Settings. Boot your PC from the Installation Media you created.

    Click Repair your computer > Troubleshoot > Command prompt

    Type: notepad.exe

    Press Enter

    Click File, then Open

    This will open a Mini-Explorer that you can use to find folders or individual files that need to backup, right click the files to Send to USB flash drive.
