How to use Task Scheduler in dark mode

On both 11 and 2022 I've personalized my account to use the dark theme. This seems to propagate to most Windows apps, but not Task Scheduler. The Options tab only seems to have ONE option (related to disk cleanup). How can I switch Task Scheduler to dark mode?

Task Manager on 2022 has the same problem: it doesn't observe my main theme setting. But it DOES on 11.

Unfortunately, I have to say that Task Scheduler does not currently support a native dark mode. Although Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022 allow you to enable the system dark theme. Some of the tools such as Task Scheduler, Event Viewer, Services, Device Manager are built on the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) framework. So this is a design limitation rather than a configuration issue, and there is no setting in Task Scheduler itself to change its appearance.

About Task Manager: On Windows 11, newer versions of Task Manager support dark mode and follow the system theme, so it could be use in dark mode. And on Windows Server 2022 The Task Manager included with Server 2022 is based on an older implementation and does not support dark mode, even if the desktop theme is set to dark.

So the issue then is that all those admin tools use MMC? Any chance MS is going to upgrade MMC up to modern standards? (Or has this already been done in Server 2025?)

Task Scheduler currently doesn't fully support the Windows dark theme in all versions. On Windows Server 2022, many MMC-based tools, including Task Scheduler, still use the classic interface and don't automatically switch to dark mode. Unfortunately, there isn't an official setting to enable dark mode for it.
