I have a Meraki vMX 100 series security appliance installed in Azure, and a client VPN full tunnel is enabled, but client machines are unable to access the internet.

hi Admin Vishnu Kaliyathan & thx for sharing urs issue here at Q&A portal,

this is more likely a routing/NAT issue than an Azure Firewall issue. With a full-tunnel Client VPN, all internet-bound traffic is sent through the Meraki vMX. If clients lose internet access, I'd first verify that the vMX is actually configured to provide internet breakout and perform SNAT for client traffic. If Azure is only forwarding the traffic without a valid outbound path or NAT, the clients won't be able to reach the internet. I'd see if the effective routes for the VPN subnet, the Azure route tables, and whether there's another firewall, UDR, or NSG intercepting outbound traffic. A packet capture on the vMX can quickly show whether internet-bound traffic is arriving and whether return traffic is making it back to the clients.

Could u also clarify whether internet access works from the Azure VNet itself, and whether the problem affects all VPN clients? Knowing whether this is an Auto VPN, AnyConnect, or Meraki Client VPN deployment would also help narrow it down.

    rgds,

    Alex
