Edge keeps closing itself!

Edge keeps crashing, first just Facebook, closed without a warning, then the whole of Edge! Never seen anything like it and Google has never done this! What is going on? Windows 11 Pro, powerful laptop!!!!

Open the Settings App.

Go to Apps - Installed Apps.

Scroll down to find the Edge browser in the list of installed apps.

Select Edge, then choose Modify - Repair.

Wait for that process to complete and then check if Edge is working correctly.

If Edge is still not working correctly, the best option is to download the Edge installer form this link and use that to reinstall Edge.

Yes, please use that Modify operation first, if that does not resolve the problem, try reinstalling Edge using the Edge installer on the link above.

Dave, please help..... Edge turning itself off again, every time I set the computer to sleep!!! But the link you sent me, that would allow me to download it, has been removed. I suppose I will be able to find it online????? Anyway, what is going on, do you know? Is this a problem a lot of people are having? Never seen anything like it, but then again, everything connected to the Internet, AI, you name it, seems to be working ever badly! My answers thanking you were deleted too, "Due to a Violation of our Code of Conduct", crazy or what???? Funny enough, once again, Edge does not seem to be sending this post. I will try on Google. Something is really going on! Edge is updated, Microsoft Anti-virus says no problem with my laptop.... what a nightmare, because I have everything set to open on Edge and I save everything on Edge. Oh, the link appears now!
