Why is dictation for Arabic not enabled? And how can I help you develop it?

I understand your interest in seeing Arabic supported for Windows dictation.

At present, Microsoft has not publicly explained why certain languages are available for Windows voice typing/dictation while others are not. Based on Microsoft's published language support information, Arabic is available for some Windows speech features such as text-to-speech voices, but Arabic is not currently listed among the supported languages for Windows voice typing/dictation.

If you would like to help influence future development, the best approach is to submit feedback through the Feedback Hub:

1. Press Windows + F to open Feedback Hub.
2. Select “Make a suggestion”.
3. Describe your request for Arabic voice typing/dictation support, including the Arabic variants you use (for example, ar-SA, ar-EG, etc.).
4. Submit the feedback and upvote similar suggestions from other users.

Microsoft teams regularly review Feedback Hub submissions when evaluating future improvements and language support. For more details: Send feedback to Microsoft with the Feedback Hub app.

I hope Arabic dictation support is added in a future update, and submitting feedback through Feedback Hub is currently the most direct way for users to help communicate demand for the feature.
