How to fix my screen from jumping

Does the jumping happen everywhere (desktop, all apps) or just in one app/browser?

I understand how frustrating it can be when your screen is constantly jumping, making it difficult to read anything on your Windows 11 device. 

Could you please clarify: 

• Did this start after a Windows update, driver update, or connecting a new monitor? 

In the meantime, you can try these steps below to troubleshoot the issue:  

Option 1: Restart the graphics driver  

• Press Windows + Ctrl + Shift + B 
• Check whether the screen stabilizes afterward 

Option 2: Check the refresh rate  

• Open Settings > System > Display > Advanced display 
• Verify that the refresh rate is set to the recommended value 

Option 3: Update the display driver  

• Open Device Manager from the Start menu 
• Expand Display adapters 
• Right-click your graphics device and select Update driver 

Option 4: Disable visual effects temporarily  

• Open Settings > Accessibility > Visual effects 
• Turn off Animation effects 
• Turn off Transparency effects

No, this is not a driver issue. This is Windows specific wierdness. I will describe it in detail so you'll understand the issue. Microsoft has done some dumb things, but this is one of the dumbest ever. Please provide a way to turn this behavior off specifically, without affecting any other "visual effects". Here are two examples of exactly what happens:

Notepad - I'm a programmer, and I like to use Notepad for quick fixes. In Notepad, you can be in the middle of marking a portion of text, and then the screen jumps. It looks like it's trying to center your view, but it's VERY annoying. Imagine trying to fix a piece of code and suddenly your mark isn't in the same place anymore.

Explorer - the same thing happens in the Explorer. If I have to make fixes in hundreds of files, I'll open an Explorer to see the list, and go down the list one after the other. The screen jumps BETWEEN double clicks, suddenly I'm not opening the same file I thought I was opening. Again, this is very annoying, it costs me time and money. PLEASE provide a way to specifically turn this idiot behavior off. If you can't provide on, I'm going to dump Windows and move to Linux, because Linux doesn't have this problem.
