Unfortunately, it is not possible to save files using Office applications (such as Office 365 or Office 2019/earlier versions). As indicated in the link below, Microsoft has informed users that, starting today, Office 365 and Office 2019 installations that do not meet the listed requirements will no longer allow editing or saving.

In your case, you would need a Mac running version 12.7.6 or newer for Office 365 or Office 2024.
