Hi Bruce,

Thank you for reaching out.

In Outlook on the web, the "In office today" card is driven by your Work hours and location settings and is not configured through a separate contact list.

To set it up:

  1. Open Outlook on the web and select Settings (⚙️).
  2. Navigate to Calendar.
  3. Select Work hours and location.
  4. Configure your working days, working hours, and set your location (for example, Office).
  5. Click Save to apply the changes.

Outlook can display coworkers who are also working from the office when their work location has been configured and shared. If your organization uses Microsoft Places and has office buildings configured, Outlook may also show colleagues who are working from the same building. Otherwise, it may only display a general status such as Office or Remote.

I hope this helps point you in the right direction. If you have any questions or need clarification on any of the steps above, please let me know and we'll be happy to assist further.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
