Replicating Teams Homepage across multiple teams

According to your description, please kindly allow me to clarify some information: 

At this time, Microsoft Teams does not support fully duplicating an existing Class Team in a way that copies the Home page layout, content, and all settings in a single action. While Teams does allow you to create a new team from an existing team, this option can only copy selected components such as channels, tabs, apps, and team settings. The Home page content itself including layout and posts is not fully replicated and typically requires some reconfiguration after the team is created. 

That said, there are supported approaches that schools commonly used to achieve consistency and reduce setup time: 

Method 1: 

If you want to use the same data, channels, and settings from a current team or if you or if you'd like to use an existing Microsoft 365 group to create a new team, you can make a copy. Then, you can choose how your new team is organized and set up.

Note: 

Your org can restrict who can create teams. If you can't create a team or need to turn off team creation, check with your IT admin. 

After you create the new team, you’ll still need to configure the settings for apps and tabs. 

Method 2: 

Many schools centralize common resources (links, documents, welcome content) in a shared SharePoint site or page, then add this as a website or SharePoint tab in every Class Team. This provides a consistent “home” experience across classes without needing to rebuild content each time. 

Method 3: 

For more technical scenarios, IT admins can use Microsoft Graph/PowerShell to automate team creation and membership assignment. However, this is not exposed in the Teams user interface and is typically handled centrally rather than by individual teachers. 

I also agree that your idea is an excellent suggestion, as it could significantly improve productivity and reduce the time required to set up new Class Teams. This would be especially beneficial for educators and institutions that need to create multiple classes with a consistent Home page experience while minimizing repetitive manual configuration. 

The best way to ensure the Teams product team is aware of this need is to submit feedback through the official Microsoft Feedback Portal. Our product team is in charge of the site, and they constantly check customer reviews and feedback. The higher votes, the more attention the related team will pay on. And a lot of the features are developed and improved based on customer feedback.

4. Provide a clear description, for example: 

"Microsoft Teams for Education should allow educators to duplicate a Class Team and fully replicate the Home page layout, including images, sections, links, and custom content, so new classes can be set up consistently without requiring manual reconfiguration."
