First of all I spent hours on chat trying to get [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed] working properly the other night and it is STILL not working. They couldn't understand why I wasn't receiving emails, but I am not.

Is there anyway you can help me with a address printer getting from word to email.

The other thing is like most people I HATE this authenication. There is only myself using the computer so seems pointless, and on my phone it is driving me mad people should be asked if they want not forced into it.

Dear @Deborah Jobson,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Please understand that our forum is a public platform, and I will modify your question to cover your personal information in the description. Please notice to hide these personal or organization information next time you post error or some information to protect personal data.

Based on your description, you are experiencing three issues: your email account is not receiving messages, you are having trouble sending documents from Word via email, and you would like to know if multi-factor authentication (MFA) can be disabled.

For better understanding your situation, could you please provide some more information as:For the email issue, could you please confirm:

  • Can you send emails successfully from the affected account?
  • Do senders receive a bounce-back or error message when emailing you?

For the Word-to-email issue, please let us know:

  • Which version of Outlook you are using (Classic Outlook or New Outlook)?
  • What happens when you try to send a document from Word via email?
  • Does this issue occur with a specific Word document, or with all Word documents?

Regarding MFA, I understand your concerns. However, MFA requirements are typically controlled by the email provider or your organization's security policies. If this is a business account or education account, only the IT/Administrator can determine whether MFA can be disabled. In some environments, MFA is mandatory and cannot be turned off by individual users.

You can also refer to this Microsoft support article for more information: Manage authentication methods - Microsoft Entra ID | Microsoft Learn

Please understand that the more information you provide, the more effectively I can support.
Looking forward to your update.
