Hi

Our virtualization team is planning to move office desktop users onto Windows 365 Cloud PCs. How can we use Endpoint Analytics’ performance history to build a baseline that compares average input latency between physical machines and virtual endpoints ?

Hi Adrian Tan

Endpoint Analytics already tracks input latency across your devices, so you can use that historical data to set a baseline for what ‘normal’ looks like on your physical desktops. Once you start rolling out Windows 365 Cloud PCs, you can compare their latency numbers against that baseline to see if users are experiencing any noticeable differences. The trick is to look at the performance history reports and filter by device type physical versus virtual so you’re comparing apples to apples. Over time, you’ll build a clear picture of average input responsiveness across both environments, which helps you spot outliers or trends before they become user complaints. It’s not complicated, but it does require consistent monitoring so you can trust the baseline you’ve built.
