Office Home and Business 2024 and LTSC 2024 conflict

I purchased and loaded Office Home & Business 2024. After jumping through all kinds of hoops, it is activated. When I go into Word or Excel and do File=>Account, Office LTSC Standard 2024 appears and needs to be activated. See screen shot. How do I resolve this? It does not appear in the list of programs that can be uninstalled. Thanks.

Hello,

Can you please type cmd in the search on the taskbar and press enter to launch Command Prompt, then run these commands one at a time? (You can copy the command and paste into command prompt to avoid typo).

cscript "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16\OSPP.VBS" /dstatus

cscript "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\OSPP.VBS" /dstatus

cscript "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office16\OSPP.VBS" /dstatus

cscript "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\OSPP.VBS" /dstatus

Thank you for your response and help. All of those commands failed because the paths do not exist. Screen shots provided. Whether it matters or not, we're on Windows 10.

Under Program Files, I do not have a folder for Office16. I have Microsoft Office and Microsoft Office15. Under Program Files (x86), there is a Microsoft folder, but no Office or Office16. In the root folder there are Office, Office15 and Office16. Based on other things I've read, it seems like there are remnants of the old Office suite we had loaded and were replacing. Thanks again for your help.

A little progress at a time. There is no OSPP.vsb in the Office15 folder.

Input Error: Can not find script file "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office15\OSPP.VBS".

Wait, but you have the OSPP in Office 16 folder though according to your screenshot.

Are you saying this command also won't work?

Yes, but your screenshot had Office15, so I stopped to make sure. In the below screenshot, it is showing: "LICENSE NAME: Office 24, Office24Standard2024VL_KMS_Client_AE edition". I purchased "MS® Office Home & Business 2024 for Windows" Are they the same?

Perfect. That's what I was looking for. The LTSC is volume license, so the KMS license was for that.

Now, still in Command Admin mode, run these two commands, one at a time. Restart the computer and see if the LTSC is now gone.
