Any Way to Edit or Replace a .PNG Image Inserted (with the Image button at the top) in a recent Post in this forum?

Are you referring to an image added or inserted in an Office file such as Word, PowerPoint, or Outlook?

John -- Sorry for being unclear. I'm referring to an image that I created and inserted into my own most recent comment to another thread in a different section of the Microsoft Answers forum.

Sorry, Gerald, and thanks for trying again! -- I did write an explanation for rejecting your solution, but apparently you don't get to see that. Using Edit I never get to a screen where I can delete the image. I click the three dots and select "Edit," but when I click (either right or left) on the image I want to delete and replace, all I get is the attached pop-up:

I don't know what to do with this box, but it doesn't seem to provide a way to delete the image. Am I missing something?

(Perhaps it's relevant that I'm using the "learn.microsoft.com/en-us/ answers" site from Chrome in Windows 10.)

Place the cursor before the image and use the delete key on your keyboard. Don't click on the image.

Click on the three dots at the bottom of your post and click on Edit.

Delete the image and replace it.....
