I have only 2.12 GB free of 56.9 GB on storage what do I do?

In the past few days Ive seen that I've gotten barely any storage left on my windows 11 computer I've looked everywhere to find what I could possibly do and nothing as worked I can't even load up Microsoft edge without it crashing or running slow all of my apps are the windows basics and the only app I have that isn't windows is opera.

You have a 60 GB disk, which is insufficient for Windows 10/11.

You can free up space in the OS partition by doing the following:

  1. Turn off hibernation by running "powercfg /hibernate off" if you don't use the feature.
  2. Run Disk Cleanup as administrator. Enable all checkboxes and click OK to do an overall cleanup.
  3. Turn off System Restore or reduce the space allocated for it. You can do so by running systempropertiesprotection.exe. Select the OS partition and click "Configure".
  4. Do a component store cleanup by running "dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup".

But upgrading the disk is a good idea.

    one thing i should add aswell is that i cant even update to the latest version of windows ever since june 29 for some reason everything has been denied ever since because of my storage.

    your space and what can be removed?
