Hello. Recently, I've started actively using my laptop for games like Roblox and Minecraft. I have Microsoft Family Safety, because I'm 13. And a few days ago, I started experiencing problems.

First, it asked me to sign in to my Microsoft account. This happened after I restarted my laptop 3 days ago, because the taskbar was unclickable, like I couldn't click the windows logo, couldn't click on the clock icon, etc. etc. I restarted my laptop several times after the "Sign in" button popped up. It didn't help.

If you ask me how it went, which you obviously would, then here's how:

First, I doubleclick on the program which I want to open. The "ask for more time" window pops up, containing the following:

Sign in to send a request

Sign in to your Microsoft account to send a request to your parents to view this page.

Second, I press Sign In. There are two outcomes from that:

Outcome 1: A window pops up asking me if it is good that microsoft family safety wants to open microsoft family safety. I press yes. Another window pops up, telling me to scan my fingerprint. I scan it, and the window disappears, never to be seen again, or so it seems. The same thing appears every time I repeat the process.

Outcome 2: This outcome is achieved by pressing on the message that pops up when my time on a program is about to end. I press on it, get the first step of Outcome 1, and get sent to Settings. I see no problem there.

There is one main clue: it only applies to programs; I can send requests for time for the laptop with relative ease in just a few clicks.

I download all my files (if any) from reliable sources, like official sites of Roblox and Minecraft, roblox.com and www.minecraft.net respectively.

All I'm asking for is that you help me fix this problem. Please. I wanna play roblox but i cant send the goddamn request.

    Hey there, Veleslav Oksenyuk

I have had a look at the screenshots you have uploaded onto the community. I have edited one, to remove your email address. From looking at the images, it looks like you need to sign into your Microsoft account on the PC/Laptop. I know you have already mentioned that you have tried this already, but it hasn't helped.

Please can you open your Settings app on Windows. Once the Settings app is open, please go to "Accounts"

    User's image

This will open your accounts page, where you can see your account information. Please scroll down until you see "Account settings". Once here, please click onto "Your info"

    User's image

This will open your account information. You should see your name, email address, the account type. Please can you check you don't have any errors saying your account needs attention, or fix account etc...

Please also check that the account settings says Microsoft account and not local account.

    User's image

If you are signed into a local account, or you need to sign into your Microsoft account again, please can you sign into your Microsoft account. Then see if this allows you to send a notification to your parents asking for permission to use Roblox.

    Hope this helps,
    Nathan
