App Service Domain Stuck in Parked Status

Hi my domain in the Azure App Service Domain has been stuck in "Parked" status for a day and a half. I've tried to do the required email verification, but the link provided takes me to a page where it states "verification failed". The support phone number on the verification failed page hangs up the phone and I have found no information online on how to get the domain back in to Active status.

What do I do?

Hi! PARKED_VERIFICATION_ICANN means the registrar is waiting for registrant-contact verification. Confirm that the contact email is valid and resend the verification message from the domain’s management page. If every new link immediately reports failure, the registrar backend must reissue or reset the verification. Open a billing/subscription support request for App Service Domains; recreating the App Service will not fix the domain registration state.

    Thank you for reaching out Microsoft Q&A. PARKED_VERIFICATION_ICANN means the registrar is waiting for registrant-contact verification. In the Azure portal, go to your App Service Domain resource > left sidebar >Advanced domain management (preview) > check the contact email listed there.

    Check that inbox and its spam/junk folder — several people in the same situation found the verification email had landed in spam.

    Click the verification link in that email.
