Welcome pintu choudhary,
I understand how frustrating it can be when the special touchpad gestures for adjusting volume, brightness, and media controls are no longer working on your device.
Before proceeding, could you please clarify:
- What is the make and model of your laptop?
- Did the issue start after a Windows update, driver update, or any recent system changes?
In the meantime, you can try these steps below to troubleshoot the issue:
Option 1: Check whether advanced touchpad gestures are still enabled
- Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Touchpad
- Review the Gestures and Advanced gestures sections
- Ensure the relevant gesture options are enabled
Option 2: Restart the touchpad driver
- Press Windows + X and select Device Manager
- Expand Human Interface Devices and Mice and other pointing devices
- Right-click the touchpad device and select Disable device
- Enable it again after a few seconds
Option 3: Update the touchpad driver
- In Device Manager, right-click the touchpad device
- Select Update driver
- Choose Search automatically for drivers
Option 4: Reinstall the touchpad driver
- In Device Manager, right-click the touchpad device
- Select Uninstall device
- Restart the computer and allow Windows to reinstall the driver
I hope the steps above help you deal with your issue.
