This has been happening since yesterday (from posting this). I don't know how to fix it, even if I close and re-open it sometimes it returns normal but it keeps doing this.
For more explanation: I open the task manager, switch from processes to performance, and they appear to 'blend' into each other as you can see. If I try to minimize the window, black bars appear where the small processes tab is on the screenshot, or the words glitch out as I have shown.

I can assure you , it's not your hardware. It's just vibe coded windows 11 being as glitchy it can be. Multiple people on reddit with all kind of hardware combination are having this issue.
It is NOT a system corruption issue since this eventually comes back even after clean install of windows . There is no reason behind this , you can open task manager 30 times and you will get this bug maybe one time. This started happening from around 2 weeks before , some update must have glitched the rendering.

Your screenshot just indicates some system corruption, that may be caused by a recent update, open the Settings App, go to Windows Update - Update History, what is the KB numbers of the most recent updates installed on your system.

The recent update on my windows is KB5095093 which I was waiting for to be installed while writing this, even updated it still happens.

Are you not experiencing any graphics glitches in any other app on your PC that is set to dark mode, it it just Task Manager that is showing the error?
No, this only happens on task manager, 100%. I have tried with many other apps that are on dark mode but it still only happens on the task manager.
I have ran the sfc /scannow command just now, it did find corrupted files and fixed them and I have ran the DISM command just now, yet it still appears to happen. I have not restarted my PC yet.
Okay, please restart your PC and check if the problem is resolved, if not, then the best option to resolve any system corruption is to perform an in-place repair with the Windows 11 ISO.
Please ensure you download the ISO in the same language as you use for the Windows UI, follow the steps, this is then not like re-installing Windows, it is just like an update and your personal files, settings and installed software will not be affected.

When the ISO file completes downloading
Disconnect from the Internet
Disconnect all external devices with the exception of a mouse or keyboard.
Temporarily disable any 3rd party Anti-virus you may have installed
Then, in Windows File Explorer, double click the ISO and then run Setup.exe and select the Install option.
Very Important - ensure you select the option to keep your files and apps.

Yes, this is just caused by some Windows update, they are working on improving Task Manager, File Explorer... etc. in Windows 11, another option would be to wait for the full July update to be released next Tuesday to check if that will resolve the problem.
Is it fine if I simply just leave it be? I have to go soon, and well... since you said it's generally windows... the problem could return. Would I need to worry about my drivers or anything else?
No you have nothing to worry about, this is just a Windows glitch most likely caused by an update, this does not indicate any problem with your PC or drivers.

You see the system uptime of 9 days in the bottom left of the task manager. You need to REBOOT because something glitched. You have to reboot your system or do a full shutdown once a week, minimum.
Similar to your smartphone, things will start glitching, performance degrades and odd things happen when you don't "flush" the system out by rebooting or giving it a rest.
I will look forward to this but I think it was fixed ever since i ran some more commands (the chkdsk one and something else, it seems to be fixed now)
