Where do can I find the "read aloud" function in the new outlook. Not the immersive reader...The old version has it under the REVIEW tab.

Based on what I have been able to find, the classic "Read Aloud" feature is not currently available in New Outlook in the same way that it is in Classic Outlook under Review > Read Aloud.

Instead, Microsoft currently provides a similar experience through Immersive Reader. This allows Outlook to read the message aloud using text-to-speech functionality.

That said, I have noticed that this experience is primarily focused on reading received messages and does not fully replicate the functionality that many users were accustomed to in Classic Outlook. There have been numerous community discussions from users who feel that the current implementation does not completely satisfy the same accessibility, proofreading, and productivity scenarios that the original Read Aloud feature supported.

Personally, I believe this is a feature that provides significant value, whether for users with dyslexia and other accessibility needs, or simply for professionals who rely on listening to email content as part of their daily workflow.

As a community moderator, I don't have the ability to influence product design decisions, feature roadmaps, or bring features back into the product directly. However, the Outlook product team does review customer feedback when evaluating future improvements.

To help Microsoft better understand the demand for this functionality, I recommend submitting feedback directly from New Outlook: Help > Feedback

You can also submit a dedicated suggestion through the Microsoft Feedback Portal and vote for similar requests submitted by other users.
