M365 subscription through apple is not allowing access to copilot through iPad apps such as word or one noted

I have a valid m365 subscription through apple and I can see this as valid on the m365 account. I can access my one drive and all the apps both on my PC and iPad. I can also open and use copilot. But when I want to use copilot on the iPad within applications such as one notes it is saying I do not have a valid subscription. Help please?

Just to confirm, what exact Microsoft 365 license do you have through Apple? Is it Microsoft 365 Personal, Family, Basic, Premium, Copilot Pro, or a work/school Microsoft 365 Copilot license?

Also, are you signed in to Word and OneNote on the iPad with the same Microsoft account that owns the subscription? If it is a Family or Premium plan, Copilot access may only apply to the subscription owner.

Hi John. It is a M365 personal subscription that includes copilot (in fact I can see 60 credits unused on Microsoft account) and I am logged in word, one note etc with that login.

In fact it’s weird because I can use CoPilot app but it does not seem to link with the other apps. So in One note the copilot icon is greyed out and when I try with the copilot notes and as to chat it says that I don’t have a valid subscription. However when I go into the copilot app I can see my other chats plus the one now created today I don’t have a subscription for one notes.

If you haven't already, please uninstall all Office apps, then reinstall them again via the steps in the link earlier. If you are asked to sign in, please use the same Microsoft account you used to buy the subscription and click Next. Let me know how it goes.

Did this. So they are all working accept one notes.
