SHOW PAGE PREVIEW IPHONE APP

Recent update to OneNote on your part (on iPhone 17 Pro), disabled the page preview. The button is still toggled on but the previews do not show. I can toggle the button off/on and they appear. I close out the app and come back to app, it doesn't work. Please fix.

Thank you.

The available context does not document a "page preview" setting or any known issue with it in OneNote for iOS, but it does show that similar OneNote iOS display/sign-in issues are typically resolved by updating the app and, if needed, resetting OneNote’s credentials/settings.

For the described behavior (previews only appear after toggling the setting, then disappear again after restarting the app), the following actions are supported by the context and are recommended:

    1. Update OneNote and iOS
      • Open the App Store on the iPhone, search for OneNote, and select Update if available.
      • Ensure iOS itself is updated to the latest version, as recent bugs affecting OneNote display behavior have been fixed by OS updates.
    2. Reset OneNote sign‑in credentials (iOS)
Corrupted Office identity data can cause OneNote features and sync behavior to misfire. Resetting credentials forces OneNote to recreate its identity data.
      • Open iOS Settings > OneNote > Reset OneNote.
      • Turn on Delete Sign‑In Credentials.
      • Make sure OneNote is not running (swipe up from the bottom, find OneNote in the app switcher, and swipe it up to close).
      • Re‑open OneNote and sign in again.
    3. Update other Office apps on iOS (if installed)
OneNote shares Office identity with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. A bug in one app can corrupt the shared identity.
      • In the App Store, update Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to their latest versions.

If the issue persists after these steps, it is likely a regression in the latest OneNote for iOS build. In that case, keep the app updated and consider using the in‑app feedback option to report the bug so it can be addressed in a future update.
