For an interrupted Microsoft certification exam due to connectivity issues, assistance must be provided by Pearson VUE, the exam delivery partner.
Because the GH-300 exam session was closed and the access code is now invalid, self-service recovery is not possible. To request a new appointment or resolution (including potential reschedule without additional cost), contact Pearson VUE support directly and explain that the exam was interrupted by an internet connectivity issue while connected to the proctor.
Use the Pearson VUE Microsoft support contact page:
- Pearson VUE Customer Support – Customer service :: Microsoft :: Pearson VUE
If Pearson VUE created a case for the connectivity issue, and the exam is a standard Microsoft Certification exam covered by the retake policy, it may be possible to request a waiver of the normal retake waiting period through Microsoft Training, Certification, and Program Support, but only when there was an internet connectivity or equipment failure and a Pearson VUE case exists.
For that scenario, use:
Provide:
- Full name
- Exam ID (GH-300)
- Date/time of the exam
- Description of the connectivity issue
- Any Pearson VUE case number provided during or after the incident
Resolution (new access code, reschedule, or fee handling) will be determined by Pearson VUE and Microsoft exam support based on their policies and the details of the case.
