I asked a question about malicious code that got injected into Edge. I was in a panic at the time. Also, my post, was in April of 2026. I got banned for that post in July of 2026 - two months later.
This is the post I made (that apparently got me banned):

I'd like to add that when I posted (above link) my computer was getting bombarded with these fake virus popups - dozens and dozens. In that moment, as mentioned above, I was in a panic - and extremely worried that my work computer had been compromised.
I'd also like to point out that my post helped another user who had a similar issue.
More importantly - my experience which I documented in the link above should help prevent something like this from happening to other users. So banning me is absolutely preposterous. But, if you really feel I need to be banned from your site then I should stop paying for Microsoft products. I'm a normal, regular, paying customer.
I pay for Teams, I pay for a phone number (provided by Microsoft), I pay for Visio, I pay the business version of Microsoft Office 365 - and likely other Microsoft products.
I'm left with the impression that asking any question on Microsoft Q&A will potentially get you banned months later - with no explanation over what was misconstrued to be a violation. And I assure you, nothing I said or posted was in violation of the code. All I've ever posted were questions on how to use Microsoft products or technical problems.
I've contacted Microsoft to inform that I will stop using Microsoft products if this issue is not resolved. I'm a paying customer, for many years, and stonewalling me will not make me want to buy more products from Microsoft or make me want to continue using Microsoft.
