My system is sending some type of error message that I cannot see. I believe it maybe #external camera set-up. I have been to settings and tried to troubleshoot, but it is not working

Right click your Start Button and open Device Manager.
Leave that utility open to monitor your hardware.
When your system creates the beeping noise, do you see the device list in Device Manager, and if so, are you able to see which device is appearing and disappearing.
