Windows button on keyboard and taskbar doesnt work

I cant open the screen that should come up when you click on the windows icon, all it does is "unfocus" the tab/app im already in, i tried to restart windows explorer, /restorehealth , Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}, and /scannow but they dont work, im on windows 11 home.

Since you've already tried several troubleshooting steps, such as restarting Windows Explorer, re-registering Windows apps, and testing with a new user account, and the issue still persists, I suggest performing a repair in-place upgrade while keeping your files and apps. This process repairs or replaces corrupted Windows system files that may be causing the problem.

Note: Before doing so, unplug all unnecessary external peripherals connected to your PC, and temporarily disable any third-party antivirus program to avoid interference.

  1. Click the 'Download now' button under 'Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO)' and save it to your computer: https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11 (Click the third 'Download Now' button.)
  2. Run the downloaded file and select 'Yes' when prompted by User Account Control (UAC).
  3. Accept the Microsoft Software License Terms if you agree.

    Hi @Michael

    Create one user from control panel -> user accounts and login from the new user just test windows key and taskbar work or not and give your feedback.
