To verify and resolve the missing DP-700 certification, follow these supported steps:
- Confirm the exam result and timing
- For most exams, results appear in the Certifications tab of the Learn profile within 24 hours, but it can take up to 24 hours. If it has already been longer than that, proceed with the next steps.
- Ensure the exam was taken as a standard Microsoft Certification exam through Pearson VUE (not Certiport). Certiport-based exams do not appear in the Microsoft Learn profile.
- Check the correct Microsoft Learn profile
- Sign in to Microsoft Learn and open the profile that should hold the certification.
- If multiple Microsoft accounts or work/school accounts exist, sign out and try each possible account to ensure the correct profile is being checked.
- Verify that the email address that received the Pearson VUE/“congratulations” messages matches the Learn profile being used.
- Review the “Missing Exams or Certifications” guidance
- Use the checklist in the Missing Certifications article to:
- Confirm that DP-700 is indeed the correct exam for the “Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate” certification.
- Verify that the credential requirements are met as described on the certification or exam details pages.
- Use the checklist in the Missing Certifications article to:
- If the certification still does not appear, contact Microsoft Credentials Support
- Since Pearson VUE has already delivered the exam and the certification is not visible in the Learn Credentials portal, this must be handled by Microsoft Credentials Support.
- Go to Microsoft Credentials Support and open a support request for “Missing exams or certifications.” Provide:
- Full name
- Microsoft Learn account email
- Exam name and code (DP-700)
- Exam date (4 July)
- Exam provider (Pearson VUE)
- Registration ID
- Support can investigate the exam record, link it to the correct Learn profile if needed, and confirm or correct the certification status.
No additional action is required from the candidate side beyond confirming the correct Learn profile and submitting a support request if the certification is still missing.
