Request for Verification of Certification Authenticit

To verify the authenticity of a Microsoft Azure certification submitted by a staff member, request a verifiable link to their official Microsoft Learn transcript, rather than a PDF or image of a certificate.

Most institutions consider a certification or transcript official only if it comes directly from Microsoft. The staff member should:

1. Sign in to their Microsoft Learn profile.
2. Go to Transcript in the left menu.
3. Open Transcript Settings and enable Show legal name and Show contact email.
4. Use Share link → Create link (or Copy link if already created) to generate a sharable transcript URL.
5. Send that transcript link to the school.

The school can then open the link and verify:

• The candidate’s legal name.
• The specific Azure certification(s) listed.
• The status (earned, active) and dates.

If the certification is one of the ACE-reviewed exams, the staff member can also include the official exam title link from the ACE list (for example, from https://aka.ms/ACECollegeCredit) in the email, so the school can confirm the exam details against Microsoft’s official description.

Avoid accepting screenshots or emailed attachments alone as proof, because they are not considered official and are not verifiable.
